Proximity card packs contain an enrolment card, which is the first card added when the system is installed. Following packs are entered by showing the original enrolment card and then a new card from the next pack. They’re stored in a wallet to prevent loss or damage.
Other additions to the pack include a door open time card. This sets the amount of a time a door is unlocked for. A fail open release card is used for Proximity and Easyprox compact. With Proximity it’s a case of the card reversing lock output to make it suitable for a fail open release. Easyprox sets the lock to ‘unlock’ and using the card a second time relocks the door.
We’ll take you through every aspect of card installation and use so feel free to make further enquiries.
