Net2 upgrade blog

As approved installers of Paxton Access Control System products, ACC is defined by our high performing security solutions. Our Net2 range is set to be improved after Paxton announced an upgrade to the integration process with the help of Entertech, the operating partner of Suprema Inc.

As Paxton’s advanced networked access control solution, Net2 offers centralised administration of various doors and users in businesses. Entertech’s ‘BioConnect for Net2’ will allow for seamless connectivity of Suprema’s biometric readers and the Net2 software. With the biometrics integrated into the system it will allow for a more streamlined approach because it is operating in a singular system.

Biometric readers offer advanced recognition solutions, such as fingerprint and retina scanning. The biometrics remove the need to remember a password or carry around a card that may be lost or stolen.

The upgrades include features that are designed to increase system optimisation:

• New device management features that offer easy device control alongside network configuration and firmware updates.
• Setup assistance leading to easier and automatic installation.
• Re-designed user interface with an improved layout.

Frequent updates to Entertech BioConnect guarantees constantly evolving business practices, with new features becoming available as time goes on.

Paxton Access Control Sales Manager, Dan Drayton is sensitive to the trends of the security industry. “The integration of Suprema biometric readers and Net2 access control has produced a leading solution for our customers. The simplicity of Entertech Systems’ BioConnect integrates well with our high quality, straightforward systems. The upgrades to the system combined with ease of use to the product means that the Suprema and Paxton system is an attractive proposition for a wide range of installers.”

We’re excited to be a part of Paxton’s ongoing effort to make businesses more secure. Be sure to contact us today for more information on the best security practices.
